Rodney Earl Jackson Jr.  (Producer/Actor) is going to be a senior musical theatre major at Carnegie Mellon School Of Drama. He was born and raised in San Francisco, and plans to one day move back to his hometown to create a thetare company. Earlier this year he was seen as Berger in "Hair" and as Willie in "Mastor Harold and the Boys". Last year he performed NYC Fringe festival as a dancer with In The Basement's "Chien De Moi" and is very excited to be returning to the wonderul organization of the NYC Finge festival this season. Currently he is giving back, working as a student teacher at SFARTSED (San Francisco Arts Education Project), an organization that helps youngsters explore thetarical mediums through song, dance, and introductory acting. A group in which he himself grew up in. Later this summer he plans to continue his work with aspiring artists by being an intern at the Broadway Dreams Foundation in Philedephia. He is deeply honored to be surrounded by such amazingly talented and passionate friends who make his life worth living each day. It is also gratifying to have an amazing partner, Aidaa Peerzada, whose artistic visions have kept and will keep our show, "Sheherizade", entertaining, elighting, and most importantly educational.

Lucia Roderique recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon in May and can't wait to be a part of the Fringe. Some past productions include SWEENEY TODD (Mrs.
Lovett), ASSASSINS (Sara Jane Moore),THE KING AND I (Tuptim).




Alex Spieth is a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University as an
Acting Major. Some favorite recent roles have been Catherine in Suddenly,
Last Summer; Madame Armfeldt in A Little Night Music, and Canzade in
Serpant Woman. This year she will be playing the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet
and Mrs. Malaprop in The Rivals. Thanks so much to family, friends, and all of Sheherizade!



 Jordan Phillips has been a theatrical creature since he was a little boy. From going to the VCR putting movies on when he was just two, to dancing along with multiple Disney musicals when he was five, and finally studying singing, dancing, and acting throughout elementary school up until high school theatre has been in his blood. Now at 20 years old he is attending one of the top theatre conservatories, Carnegie Mellon University and receiving his BA in Acting. After he graduates he plans to receive a Masters in Business and pursue a dream of his to start a non-profit traveling to third world countries and reviving culture by teaching children theatre, start his own production company along side his mother, and not to mention pursue his acting career. Now he excitedly joins the cast of SHEHERIZADE to take you on an adventure you'll never forget!


Jasmine Thomas is a native of Baltimore, MD and recently received her BFA in Acting from Syracuse University. She recently finished producing and performing in a new show called "Cake" at the American Theatre for Actors this August.




Erron Crawford’s artistic journey was jump started upon entering the Freddie Hendrick’s Youth Ensemble of Atlanta at the age of 9, following in the footsteps of Sahr Ngaujah (Fela) and Saycon Sengbloh (Sandra Izsador) in “Fela”.  YEA is where he was exposed to theatre as a means of social and political change by being apart of such creative works as “Times”, “Endangered Species”, “War on the Streets”, and YEA’s signature piece “Soweto! Soweto! Soweto!: A Township is Calling!”. Erron is just upon entering his sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University to continue to hone his craft with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He has performed in many productions in and beyond the Atlanta area such as: “Honk”(Jay Bird), “Once on this Island”(Papa Ge), “West Side Story”(Bernardo), “Godspell”(Lamar), Kenny Leon’s True Colors Production of “Black Nativity”, among others.  Erron is incredibly excited to be apart of his first Fringe Festival production and prays it’s not the last.


ALEX AKIN, from San Francisco, CA, is a recent graduate of The University of Michigan's Musical Theater Department.  While there, she studied voice with George Shirley and was involved in many main stage productions as well as various concerts and revues.  She has just moved to New York and has performed in the NY Avant-Garde Arts Festival and the NY Musical Theater Festival.  She is very excited to be a part of this wonderful opportunity.  Oh and GO BLUE!

 Terry Kenard Barnes, was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. At the age of eleven he as introduced to the world of theatre, while auditioning for the Baltimore School for the Arts TWIGS program. He was originally only auditioning for the visual arts department when his mom subjected he also audition for theatre. His new love for acting redirected his life and dreams. He graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts with a focus in acting("09".)  Last seen in Cocaine( Joe.) He is very excited to have this opportunity to work with such amazing talented artist.Thanks to mom, Aidaa, family and friends for your love and support.


Michael McGuire is THRILLED to be playing The Lady in *Sheharizade*. He is a rising junior musical theatre major at Carnegie Mellon. He'd like to thank his fellow CMU classmates for this wonderful oppurtunity. Michael would like to especially thank fellow comrades, Carl Lundstedt and Brain Muller, for helping write this bio.


Josh Wilder is a proud Philly native and a recent grad of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. He is an actor, theater maker, teaching artist and Co-Founder of Power St. Theater Company, a Philly based ensemble illuminating the stories of the inner city.
